InDesign Bespoke Training...

Last week we ran an InDesign Bespoke Training Course down on the South Coast for a group working in marketing and communications.  We had a mixed bunch from their content writer who had very little experience of InDesign through to the lead designer who had tons - hence the bespoke element.  After covering the basics and making sure everyone was comfortable with the software the main focus was how to use  InDesign for digital design.  Which ran into two main areas one being interactive PDF's the other being app design for digital devices such as iPad, Tablet, iPhones and Android.

The InDesign PDF Interactive element looked at how best to create a 'pesentation' from scratch, add interactive elements such as buttons, hyperlinks and rich media.  The clients intention was to publish it to the web so that it could be accessed by everyone including staff and accessible for the public.

Whilst the digital apps side of the course took a different approach; delegates were very interesting in creating 360 degree images in their publications and also including rich media materials such as video and audio to promote their courses.  These we covered and also designed for both horizontal and vertical layouts, created navigation points, swipes, image panorama's, pan and zoom and covered tips and tricks for slick digital presentation.

We run a number of InDesign Training Courses including the InDesign Interactive Design Course which can be combined with any of other courses or completely designed around you.
