HDR Training in Photoshop...

HDR translates as High Dynamic Range and in essence is the difference between the very highest light the deepest dark in a photographic, once the cameras range is exceeded then washed out highlights and deep black areas appear.  Applying HDR in Photoshop can produce an accurate reproduction of what your eye saw to some exceptionally beautiful (and to be fair on occasion extremely ugly) results.
